Thinking right

Talk to yourself without any filters. We may not realise that we tell ourselves the things we want to hear, instead of telling the right things. What we think always feels right, doesn’t it?

But who knows if we are right? Sometimes we may not think straight and start to believe every shit thought of ours. We lie to ourselves that this is the right thought, just because we favour it. For once, try to really reflect your thoughts and see if they make total sense. Don’t be biased towards them. Don’t favour them the way you want. Reflect on them without any filters. If you don’t, you are hindering your own growth and you may not even realize it. Your thoughts shape your actions, and so you got to set them right. You may like thinking about something you shouldn’t be thinking and you may become biased towards that thought. You may think it's helping you when its actually putting down the right thoughts. You are just lying to yourself that it's helping you because you are selfish. The right thoughts keep waiting for their turn, which never comes. You are stuck with your favourite thought that is destroying you and clouding the good thoughts. Take some effort and give way for them too. You may not like those thoughts, but they may be right for you. And though it's hard, you just HAVE to make way for the right thoughts.

Just like we read everywhere that we have to come out of our comfort zone, we should start doing it with our thoughts too. We have to stop favouring them and start thinking right and it will make all the difference. Talking to people who think right may help us organise our thoughts in the right way if we are unable to think right on our own. If you fail at thinking right, don’t just give up. It’s never too late to bring back your right thoughts. You just have to make sure you don’t let your favourite thoughts get you carried away. If they do, just keep bringing yourself back all the time.
